Sam, Julian and I arrived in Kisumu under the care of our friend Osborne Obage, who has shepherded us through a number of Joseph's family gatherings and shown us many faces of the city and surrounding countryside. We made our first visit to GLAC Community School, wanting to scout around and take some photos before the term begins on Monday and the children arrive. Serendipitously (or divine intervention?), Abraham Otieno, parent and school chairman, appeared at the school and gave us an incredible introduction to the school, sharing history, insights and wisdom that we were able to capture for today's update video.
