
Joseph Akeyo is the Founder and President of Support Aid Ministry (SAM), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering pastors and transforming communities in some of the world’s most impoverished and unreached regions.
As a faith-driven leader with extensive experience in ministry and community development, Joseph founded Support Aid Ministry with a conviction that when pastors are equipped, entire communities and nations are transformed. His leadership combines compassion with strategic planning, ensuring that spiritual empowerment is supported by practical initiatives that address local needs.
Under his direction, Support Aid Ministry has expanded its work across multiple countries in East Africa, providing training, relief, and leadership resources to pastors, families, and vulnerable populations. The ministry’s initiatives include pastoral development programs, chapel construction, and humanitarian outreach—all aimed at building stronger, self-sustaining communities of faith.
Joseph is recognized for his humility, transparency, and unwavering commitment to integrity in ministry leadership. His collaborative approach has strengthened relationships with donors, churches, and partner organizations that share in the vision of extending hope, dignity, and opportunity through Christ-centered service.
